Information for Seniors |

The Pecos River Village on Muscatel will open to all Seniors and one guest each at 10:00 p.m. And for the next seven hours… A Party will unfold beyond your wildest DREAMS! $5 per person (Guests must be ’08Sophomore or greater!) The Prizes…
LOTS OF CASH!
BUT YOU MUST STAY THE ENTIRE NIGHT! There will be many ways to win.
DOOR PRIZES…Every door prize will be at least $100 in cash!!! Many seniors will win a cash door prize (your chances are good because ½ of you will). And even if you win a $100 Door Prize, you will still be eligible to win one of the Grand Prizes.
BINGO PRIZES… Seniors may win an unlimited number of lesser prizes in Bingo.
BIG TICKET DRAWINGS… such as X-B0x 360 games, Digital Video Cameras, Flat Screen TVs, Dorm Refrigerators, LapTop Computers, Digital Cameras w/ Memory Card, Ipods , Cedar Chests, Acoustical Guitar, 5 $100 Wal-Mart gift cards, AND MORE will be available in the Silent Auction Drawings. (Only 1 prize per customer here).
DOOR SPLITS… All Money taken in at the door as entrance fees will be given out in $100+ increments as additional Door Prizes to the seniors.
GRAND PRIZES …(2 @ $1,000) will be awarded to 2 lucky seniors at 5:00 a.m..
SCHOLARSHIPS… Again this year, the Class Act Board has partnered with Washington Tru Solutions to award 4 $1,000 scholarships. Scholarship Applications are made available in the Guidance Counselor’s office at CHS, Phoenix, JMA, Victory Christian Academy and Faith Christian School. Winners will be announced at party’s end.
PRIZE SYSTEM…Upon entering the party each senior will be given a 2-part ticket: 1 to keep, and 1 to place in the prize bucket. During the party hours, tickets will be drawn and prize winners’ names and their prizes will be recorded on a wall poster in the Casino area. Check the poster throughout the night, as prizes must be signed for at the prize table before 4:30 in the morning, or they will be re-drawn for at party’s end. (Hint: Seniors who stick around until the very end will often have another chance to win at the re-drawing!)
COURTESY / SECURITY ROOM…This is a room located across from the Casino where you may check in and out your personal things for safekeeping. (i.e. purses, yearbooks, cell phones, bingo prizes, etc.).
CLASS ACT THEME TEE SHIRT…IT’S FREE!!! Shirts will be given out to all seniors at the front entrance at party’s end. Be sure to drop by and pick up your shirt with theme design by a senior. If you indicated that you wanted a larger size than XL, tell the attendant at the shirt table.
THE FOOD at Café is free—Outdoor eating area…Tables will be set up in the courtyard around the fountain, for those who want to sit and enjoy the food, refreshments, or simply to escape the crowd. NO FOOD AND ONLY BOTTLED WATER MAY BE TAKEN INSIDE THE DANCE HALL, CASINO, OR CONVENTION CENTER, so enjoy food & drink before entering the building! Grilled Hamburgers & Hot Dogs (prepared by the Sheriff’s Posse at the beginning of the event), Pizza, Sub Sandwiches, Burritos, Meat, Vegetable, & Fruit Trays, Dips, Chips, Salsa, Nachos, Crackers, Home baked goodies, Ice Cream favorites, Snack Mix, Coke products, Donuts, Cinnamon Rolls, Milk, Coffee, Cappuccino, Orange Juice
THE MUSIC…IT’S FREE!!! A fantastic DJ will entertain you from 10:00 p.m. until 4:30 in the Dance Hall. The music will include all the types you requested on the Senior Questionnaire!
THE PHOTOS…THEY’RE FREE!!! Candid photographs of you and your friends will be staged throughout the evening and early morning hours. Get all your friends together for that last hilarious group shot. Just drop by the Photo Corner (located at the north end of the Casino ) any time during the event for free photos. The photos will be online for you to download.
YOU BRING… 1)$5 per person (senior or guest) 3) Your school ID 2)One guest (No one younger than ’08 Sophomore!) 4) Your Yearbook for last chance signings
YOUR ATTIRE… Come comfortable / casual (shorts, slacks & tops—but no bathing attire!) BRING ALONG A LIGHT JACKET BECAUSE THE REFRIGERATED AIR GETS COOL in the early morning hours!
THE RULES…YOU SENIORS SAID... “ No Drinking ! No Drugs ! No Fighting ! ” The Police who will guard your vehicles all night long, told us to stress that if any alcohol is detected in any car or on any person, they will be arrested. So don’t run the risk of missing the party!
HELP US DECORATE… Parents, students or friends who would like to help set up, the crew will be working during the week at the Pecos River Village getting ready. Call Karen Nelson 887-3108/ 302-6012 for hours.
THE ENTERTAINMENT / ACTIVITIES… Little Vegas…This room is only for the fun loving! Enter through the front doors and enter the world of excitement and chance. Only seniors can actively participate but guests may watch and encourage. Real money is no good here. Seniors must proceed to the “bank” to exchange “Class Act bucks” into tickets before the drawing at 4:30 a.m. Tickets may be placed in prize boxes for additional chances to win. All seniors will be given tickets upon entering the party and in other events areas all through the night.
Bingo…This area is open as a slower paced activity, and offers the opportunity to pick up some really nice, unique prizes. Everyone, seniors and guest may play, but only seniors can claim prizes.
Dance Contests…You wanted dance contests. These will be held throughout the event with winners earning cash prizes. Check the marquee at the main entrance to the dance hall for kinds and times of these contests.
Basketball, Ping Pong, Pool & Video Games…for the jocks! There will be Ping Pong tables, a pool table, and basketball goals/balls available for your enjoyment. The basketball court is located behind the CAROUSEL HOUSE on west patio! Check out balls from the Game room.
Movies…A place to crash and watch requested movies. Check Marquee for titles & times.
Inflatable Fun… Extreme Inflatables are back! This year, the inflatable extravaganza includes the “Surfer” and the “Cracken”. Be sure and wear a light jacket for these all-hour outdoor events! |
