Dear Senior Parent,

                 Your senior and a guest (2008 Sophomore or better) are cordially invited to attend the nineteenth annual CLASS ACT senior party to be held from 10:00 p.m. on CHS Graduation night, May 23 until May 24, 5:00 a.m., at the Pecos River Village (across from the Elks Club on Muscatel).  This is Carlsbad's way of honoring our seniors for their outstanding achievements during their high school years.  Those seniors who will NOT be graduating (provided they are still enrolled and attending) and those who graduated mid-year are invited to attend. Because no senior will be admitted whose name does not appear on the senior rolls supplied us by each school. Seniors who think that their name might not be included, must contact the school & have the dean/counselor call to confirm their status to Class Act (885-3142). NO SENIOR WILL BE ALLOWED TO SIGN-IN AFTER THE 11:00 PM SIGN-IN! 

 

                 The all-night affair will include music and special effects provided by a professional Disc Jockey,   BIG cash give-aways, dance contests with prizes, a drawing for 12 great prizes, $1,000 academic scholarships to 4 deserving graduates, various games and recreational events, lots of food, and a sunrise continental breakfast ending at 5:00 am..

 

                 In a questionnaire recently filled out by the seniors, the following party rules were established:

*Only Class Act Board chaperones after 10:00 pm Friday

    (Parents  are welcome to walk-thru on Thursday. or Friday)

*Seniors MUST sign in by 11:00 p.m.  

*Attire will be casual, (but a light jacket or sweatshirt is smart!)

*No alcohol or other illegal substances

 

                 The only money your senior will need for the night will be $5 admission fee. Every senior will receive free a Class Act T-shirt.  Guests will also need $5 to enter.

                

                 CLASS ACT 2008 is made possible through the generosity of the Carlsbad community.  If you would like to honor a special senior with a $10 donation or more, a card will be sent to that senior informing him/her that a donation has been made by you in his/her name.  Fill out the form below and mail.  Your donation may help to save a life on graduation night!
